I’m Daniel Petri — a Microsoft MVP, Principal Consultant, drummer, and open-source enthusiast.

I’ve spent more than 20 years in IT, working with architecture, design and advisory across endpoint management, identity, security and automation. Today my main focus is Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft 365, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph and Zero Trust.

By night I write and play heavy music, record at home and in the studio, and occasionally spend unreasonable amounts of time thinking about drums.

In between, I’m a dad and a family man trying to keep the balance.

I’m sober and drug-free, and I care deeply about discipline, progress, and staying honest with myself.
I’m also neurodivergent (AuDHD), which shapes how I think, learn, and build systems.
